Hi, I'm Josip.
The short version: I help connect AI ideas to a useful business outcome, then build the software to test and deliver it. I also build and operate my own products, including pictwinai.com and grouped.news. That keeps the work grounded in what happens after the first demo.
The credentials, since they matter when you are handing someone your roadmap: eight years engineering production systems, including cloud work at a large tech company, and a Master’s in Computer Science. Mostly TypeScript, Go for the services that need it, Python where the AI work lives. Agentic systems are what I am deepest in right now.
Outside work I read philosophy, cycle and ride motorcycles when the weather permits, and play semi-professional American football on the offensive line. Back on the field since 2022 after a freak injury took me out of the sport.
